Watertree Press is an independent publishing house dedicated to quality non-fiction works that fulfill our motto: Read. Think. Grow.
As the competition for bookstore shelf space increases, and companies scramble to adapt to changing reading habits, publishers are overlooking promising projects because the author lacks a recognized name or the subject has a focused audience. Watertree Press seeks to provide a platform for these quality niche non-fiction books. We aim to harness the speed and flexibility afforded by savvy authors, online bookstores, and mobile devices to effectively bring such books to market.
Our first release entitled Beyond the Firmament: Understanding Science and the Theology of Creation by Gordon J. Glover highlights our purpose –- well-researched and thought-provoking content from an impressive first-time author. Our second release entitled Fighting for Peace: Combating Conflict Through Character by Dr. Dennis Morgan also supports our purpose by providing theologically-informed content designed to encourage personal, relational, and spiritual growth.
Our first textbook entitled Social Science Research Design and Statistics: A Practitioner's Guide to Research Methods and SPSS Analysis expands our efforts in the non-fiction arena by offering a handy research and statistics reference guide to serve students, faculty, and researchers alike. As our first book being released simultaneously on three eBook platforms in addition to trade paperback, Social Science Research Design and Statistics offers university textbook quality at a decidedly non-textbook price.
We continued our expansion into the academic textbook realm with a second edition of Social Science Research Design and Statistics, two editions of Statistical Fundamentals: Using Microsoft Excel for Univariate and Bivariate Analysis, and Massive Online Learning: A Topical Record of the MOOC Pansophy.
At this time, we're not actively seeking book proposals because we have a number of interesting projects already under consideration and we want to ensure that our authors receive personal attention and support. However, if you're convinced that you've got something that we simply must see, you're welcome to contact us with a very brief pitch.
Thanks for stopping by and please check out our Bookshelf for the latest releases.
